Alda Ray

Alda V. Ray, age 86, passed into the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ, so she is without pain and suffering from this day forward. May God bless her for her kind heart to everyone she ever met. Alda passed on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.
Alda was born in Naponee, Nebraska on December 14, 1926 to Andrew and Thelma Schreiner. She married Alvis T. Ray on August 28, 1944 in Tucson, Arizona. They retired in San Angelo, Texas then moved to Ranger Care center in April 2012. She is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Alvis T. Ray; brothers, Andy Schreiner and wife Fay and John Schreiner and wife Karen; sisters-in-law, Gladys and Patricia Louise Schreiner; sisters, Hilda Combow and Aletha Rehard as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Andrew and Thelma Schreiner, brothers Joe, Frank, Melvin, Jim, Charles and Jesse Schreiner as well as one sister Ann.
Friends and family are gathering at the Bakker Funeral Home in Eastland Friday February 15, 2013 from 6-7PM. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Pisgah Cemetery south of Cisco, under the direction of the Bakker Funeral Home in Eastland, Texas.
