Alejo G. Lopez, 86, of Breckenridge went to be with the Lord Wednesday October 15, 2014 at his home. The family is going to be holding a Mass Tuesday October 21st at 10 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Potentially there is a Rosary set for 6 pm Monday October 20th please call Edwards Funeral Home Eastland for final decision.
Alejo was born July 17, 1928 to Pedro and Juanita Garcia Lopez in Big Springs, Texas. He was a 1946 graduate of Cisco High School and he attended Cisco Junior College. He married Maria Lydia Soto September 19, 1948 in Eastland.
Alejo is survived by his wife, of 66 years Maria Lydia Soto Lopez, son Mario Lopez, 2 daughters Brenda Palmer and Carolyn Jehring and husband Joseph and grandsons Samuel and Jacob, and 1 sister Connie Anguiano.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
