Alpha Laverne Tedford

Alpha Laverne Tedford, 80 of Weatherford, passed away Thursday August 11, 2022 in Gatesville. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16th at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland.
Mrs. Tedford was born September 8, 1941 in Cisco, Tx to Roy and Ruby Jones. She married Lonnie Tedford, Jr. on September 17, 1973 in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2018. She was also preceded in death by a son, Howard Henry. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal.
Survivors include 5 sons, James Henry of Crane, Tx. Eddie Henry (Suzan) and Richard Tedford (Dawn) both of San Angelo, Tx, Gerald Tedford (Lesley) of Ft. Worth, Tx, and Roy Tedford (Patti) of Gatesville, Tx; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
