Alton Ray Lassiter, 79, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Weatherford.
Alton was born on September 6, 1942 in Kermit, Texas to Vernon and Eva Lena Munn Lassiter. He was a retired carpenter and construction craftsman. He was married to Glenda Harrison and they have shared over 20 years together. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Louise Lassiter, Sunny Lassiter, Floyd Lassiter, Frank Lassiter, and Molly Hight.
Survivors include his wife: Glenda Harrison; daughters: Cynthia Lassiter and Vicki Graham and husband Clayton; grandchildren: Chelsey Smith, Anthony Livingston, and Tyler Lassiter; numerous great-grandchildren and his step-son: Paul Mayhill and family.
There will be a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:30PM, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home, 211 Pine St., Ranger, TX. 76470, followed by a graveside service at 3:00PM at Bullock Cemetery, South of Ranger.
Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger, Texas.
