Andy Wylie Parsosns

April 17, 1965 — March 9, 2021

Andy Wylie Parsons was born April 17, 1965 to Wylie and Margie Parsons in McAlester, Oklahoma. Andy went to be with the Lord on March 09, 2021 after a battle with cancer. Andy was the youngest of six siblings and an identical twin.

Andy was the perfect example of a man's man, a God-fearing cowboy with a big heart and lots of personality. He worked from sun up to sun down and did a variety of work throughout his life. He worked roustabout in the oil field, ran a gas plant, managed ranches and feedlots all over Texas and even up to Montana. Andy worked hard to learn everything related to cattle, horses, farming, ranching, and grass including AI and palpation. He loved big trucks, drove a cow wagon for years, and then spent the last fifteen running his own trucking operation. Andy loved fishing, bird hunting, riding horses, working in the yard, training dogs, and spending time with friends and family. He loved to contribute to others whether it was sharing knowledge, a ride, or a helping hand.

Andy is survived by his wife Dawn Parsons; children Ashley Altum and Justin Parsons, step children Marissa Stephens, Karlie Norris, and Makayla Norris; mother Margie Clark; stepfather Thomas Clark; sisters Kathy Gailey, Debbie Mueller, and Sheila Hitt; identical twin brother Randy Parsons, and five grandchildren.
