Ann Taylor Perry, 92, of Eastland, passed away Wednesday, February 05, 2014 in Eastland. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home with Dr. Shawn Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
Mrs. Perry was born February 3, 1922 in Eastland to Austin & Fannie Belle (Weatherby) Taylor. She graduated from Eastland High School and attended Southwestern University and Texas Tech University. She married Milton Harper Perry Jr. on February 14, 1942 in Eastland. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eastland. She had been a member of the Eastland Civic League and Garden Club, various Bridge clubs, and the music club. Mr. Perry preceded her in death on September 19, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Mike Perry and his wife, Alice of Eastland; a daughter, Linda Curry of Eastland; a sister, Loraine Kilgore of Cross Plains; 4 grandchildren, Brian Perry and Shelley Rinehart, both of Eastland, Lance Curry of Alamosa, CO, and wife Adahli, Teresa Nicklas and husband Clay of Canton; 6 great-grandchildren, Megan and Joshua Curry both of Alamosa, Kaylie, Kori, and Connley Nicklas all of Canton, and Brayden Rinehart of Eastland; 2 nieces, Gayle Broadbent of Pagosa Springs, CO, and Glenna Wilger of Durango, CO.
