Anna Katherine Beavers

Anna Katherine Beavers, 95 of Gordon, passed away Tuesday September 13, 2016 in Mineral Wells. Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church at Dodson Prairie. Burial will follow at the Dodson Prairie Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at Dodson Prairie Church. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church.
Mrs. Beavers was born March 9, 1921 in Gordon, TX to Louis Albert Kainer and Josephine Clara (Teichman) Kainer. She graduated from Gordon High School. She worked as a dental assistant as well as daycare. She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Sons of Herman, and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include 4 sons, Richard Louis Beavers, Dennis Wayne Beavers and wife Terry, David Eugene Beavers and wife Lanette, and Paul Douglas Beavers; 2 daughters, Janice Marie Malone and husband Jeff, and Ceresa Ann Grayson and husband John; 1 brother, Bernard Louis Kainer.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gregory Alford Beavers; and 2 sisters, Louis Cecil Beaton and Lillian Clara Beaton.
