Annette Mae Woodard, 100 of Eastland, passed away Monday September 21, 2020 in Eastland. Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland with her Pastor, Rev. Chris Ferguson, and her son-in-law, Rev. Joe Gastineau officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born September 23, 1919 in Austin to William Thomas Teague and Henri-Etta (Williams) Teague. After high school she attended Vocational Nurses college in Dallas becoming an LVN. She worked for Alexander Nurses Registry in El Paso for approximately 25 years in various hospitals through the city. She was married to Rev. Marvin Miller, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1950. She then married David Andrew Nelson who preceded her in death in 1972. She later married Rev. Adrian J. Woodard who preceded her in death in 2011.
She was also preceded in death by, five brothers; Leo, William, Cecil, Leslie, and Thomas Jr.;
Five sisters, Evelyn Owens, Matilda Miles, Mamie Thelma Chaney, Lucille (Lucy) Conner; Bessie Lee Marx; two sons; Leslie L and Paul; three daughters; Lily Belle, Annie Mae and Mary Ruth;
and a son in law, Tommy Jobe.
She was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church; The Pentecostals of Eastland.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin Miller, Jr, and William Nelson; a daughter, Carolyn McGee; step-daughters, Barbara (Joe) Gastineau, LaNell (Keith) Craft, Janis (Tommy)Jobe, Ann Pearson, Brenda (Gene) Michael, sisters, Mary Simpson, Doris (Kitty) Russell, and Grace Brown; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and numerous great, great grandchildren.
