Audra Patt Walton, devoted Wife, Mother, and Mamaw passed away at noon on Saturday, October 10, 2015. She was born on August 29, 1929, in Buffalo Gap, Texas to Edward and Anna Squiers.
Patt was a seamstress and owned and operated “Country Crafts” in Olden, Texas. She was a member of the Christoval Eastern Star. On March 5, 1949, she married the love of her life, Bobby Ray Walton. They were married for 63 wonderful years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Walton; her parents, Edward and Anna Squiers; eight brothers, and one sister; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Leigh Walton.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ray & husband Danny Ray of Coleman, TX; daughter, Kay Scott & husband, Billy Scott of Rising Star, TX; daughter, Pam Bowman & husband, Randy Bowman of San Angelo, TX; and son, Ronnie Walton of Comanche, TX; grandchildren: Kristi Holman of Eastland, TX; Latrisha Alldredge of Coleman, TX; Scotty Walton of Jacksonville, Florida; Melissa McKenzie of Rockport, TX; Cory Bowman of San Angelo, TX; Bobby Walton of Gorman, TX; Tatum Bowman of San Angelo, TX; Veronica Walton of Stephenville, TX; Sarah Peel of Decatur, TX; and Katy Anderson of Dallas, TX; and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Hope Sorrells of Abilene, TX; and one brother, Royce Squiers of Whitehouse, TX.
Graveside services will be held at Merriman Cemetery in Ranger, Texas at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 12, 2015, with Brother Terry Simmons officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland, Texas. The family would like to thank the staff of the Chatfield Assisted Living in Brownwood, Texas for their care and support over the last two years.
