Barbara Flowers Jameson went to be with the Lord in Heaven on Wednesday, March
2025. She was born on March 28, 1938 to Howard and Sammie Flowers in Ranger, Texas.
Barbara graduated from Ranger High School in 1955, She went to Abilene and graduated from Hendrick School of Nursing in 1958. She worked as a nurse for most of her life in various forms. Barbara finished her nursing Career as the school nurse for Ranger ISD.
Barbara was married to Pete Jameson for 47 years. They enjoyed hunting and travelling across the United States and Canade and many other foreign countries like Mongolia, China, Africa, South America and Australia. Barbara also loved the water and horses.
If you knew Barbara for just a few minutes you knew of her deep Christian love and faith in God and Jesus. She shared that love with all who knew her, especially those who she loved the most.
She is survived by her daughter Bunny Herrington Schur and her son in law Lee Schur. She also has three grandchildren. Lezli and her husband Josh Cadenhead, Trey Schur and his wife Lacey, and Grant Schur and his wife Lyndsie. Barbara also has 6 great grandchildren
Garett, Rylee, and Blythe Cadenhead, Everle and Ross Schur, and Kynlee Schur. She is also survived by her step-son Matt Jameson and his wife Stacey and their 2 sons It Pete and Ryan and her step-daughter Wendy Jameson Womble and her husband Mark.
Barbara didn't just preach about God - She loved like Him.
Pall bearers are her sons, grandsons, and her brother-in-law, Larry Herrington. Serving as honorary pall bearers are Danny Harr, Dempsey Ross, and James Tingle.
- In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ranger Fire Department or the Eastside Baptist Church Food Pantry, Also, a big Thank You to Solaris Hospice - Renew Home Care and Chelsea and Lisa and Sheila Bond for taking such loving care of Barbara in her last days.
Services are under the care of Edwards Funeral Home with a graveside service on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2PM at Merriman Cemetery in Ranger, Texas with Troy Schur officiating.
