Bernice Leota Taylor, 94, formerly of Odessa passed away on Oct. 13, 2012. Bernice was living at the Homestead Nursing Home in Cisco TX. She was born on July 15, 1918 in Comanche, TX. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Mae (Ingram) and Archer D. Dunlap of Eastland, her husband J.W. Taylor, sister Kathleen Butler and 1 Grandson Gregory Pomroy of Odessa.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Mollie and husband John Brittain of Eastland and Judy and husband Douglas Pomroy of Odessa; 5 grandchildren, Jerry, Howard and Jeffery Brittain, Tracy John, Gina Barrow; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Ethleen Johnson of Eastland; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Monday at the Edwards Funeral home In Eastland from 6 to 7 PM. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Throckmorton Cemetery in Throckmorton TX. Arrangements were made thru Edwards Funeral home of Eastland.
