Betty Neeley Freudiger, 89 of Early, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Apr. 4th at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home.
Betty was born October 26, 1928 in Thurber, TX. She married Jacob Rutledge Freudiger on January 11, 1947 in Monahans. She served on the Board of Shackelford County Hospital, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and going to the race track. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her passion was following her five grandchildren in all of their youth and high school activities. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Lavora Neeley; three brothers; one sister; and her loving husband, Rutledge Freudiger.
She is survived by her two daughters, Marsha Fisher and Donna Parker, both of Albany. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chad Bartee and wife Leeann of Fort Worth, Stacy Abbate and husband Jim of Albany, Lindsay Parker Robertson and husband John of Midlothian, Kyle Bartee and wife Terra of Albany, and Josh Parker and wife Erika of Abilene; and 10 great-grandchildren, Kelton Parker, Brennan Abbate, Nick Michalak, Neeley Robertson, Brooklyn Abbate, Braylyn Abbate, Aiden Robertson, Kaisley Bartee, Eli Robertson, and Grace Parker.
