Betty Jo Noth, 89, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 in Ranger, Texas. She was born October 16, 1924 in Ranger, Texas to Roland and Mary Florence Ingram.
She graduated from Ranger High School in May of 1942 and following her graduation attended Ranger Jr. College. In later years, she graduated from a Food Service Supervisors Course at Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas. She was Secretary and Treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary in the 1970’s also served as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Big Country Dietary Managers Association in the 1980’s.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church where in past years she taught Sunday school and training Union and Sunbeams. She was also a member of the W. M. U.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Everett Noth, her parents; oldest sister, Ireene Ingram; her oldest brother: Elvin Ingram; sister, Lyndell Marie Ingram; and stepfather: Elwood Williams.
Survivors include her sons: Jack Noth and wife Sandra of Sherman, TX; Mike Noth and wife
Brenda of Ranger, TX; daughters: Lyndell Cockburn and husband Jim of Ranger, TX; Eileen Squiers of Eastland, TX; brother: Roland Dwaine Ingram and wife Jerry Sue of Hurst, TX; sister: Mary Frances Wiesen of Odessa, TX; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 22, 2013 at the Second Baptist Church in Ranger, TX with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM December 21, 2013 at the Edwards Funeral Chapel.
