Betty Lou Wilcoxon

Betty Wilcoxon, 81, passed from this life on Monday, October 18, 2021 in Brownwood, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday at Eastland Cemetery with Jimmy Hatcher officiating.
Betty was born on August 8, 1940 in Loraine, Texas to Winfred Poe and Roxie Lucile Caswell Burleson. She married Gayland Wilcoxon on December 19, 1959 in Odessa, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2021. Betty had lived in Eastland since 1968 moving from Odessa. She was a member of the Olden Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved cooking (was called Betty Crocker by her family), camping, and fishing. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Winfred B. Burleson.
Survivors include her son: Kenneth Wilcoxon; daughter: Carolyn Bruaw of Brownwood; and grandchild: Chastin Bruaw.
Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland, Texas.
