Betty “Jolene” Williams, 66, of Ranger went home to her Lord and Savior Saturday, May 21, 2016. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger. Graveside services will be held 10 A.M. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger Texas.
Jolene was born March 27, 1950 in Ranger, Texas to David L. Williams and Betty L. (Wymer) Williams. Jolene traveled the world from age 5 to 24 and, attended school in Benghazi, Libya, Salmiya, Kuwait, Brazil, and Salvador. She graduated High School in Ranger and attended Ranger Junior College, U.T in Arlington, Cisco Junior College (Cosmetology), Executive Secretary School in Dallas, and Austin School of Message Therapy.
Jolene had various vocational certificates but was mostly remembered for being a Cosmetologist and Message Therapist. She owned and operated Reflections Beauty Shop in Ranger for a number of years. Jolene loved her hometown especially working with the youth of Ranger. She worked and taught children’s church, coached Ranger Little League, was a Cub Scout leader; along with being a GA Teacher and Acteens Leader. She had many hobbies which included camping, painting, crafts, and woodworking. She was also involved in the Garden Club and Historical Society.
Jolene leaves behind her two sons, Justin Koerner of Ranger and Robert Needham of Madison Virginia; along with 9 grandchildren and the love of her life, Jack Henson.
