Beverly Jean Westby passed away April 9, 2022 at Woodlands Nursing Home, Eastland, Texas.
Beverly was born on July 1, 1938 in Lake Preston, South Dakota to Garrett and Fern Aalbers. She graduated high school in DeSmet, South Dakota in 1956. Beverly married Myron (Bud) Westby March 4, 1961. Bud and Beverly moved to Hobbs, New Mexico in 1966 and raised 4 children, Timothy, Kathi, and twins, Karen and Sharen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, oldest brother, Donald and sister, Dorothy (Tootie), and her daughter Kathi Dee, and her beloved Pug, Cyrus.
She is survived by 2 brothers, Kenneth and Terry, and 3 sisters, Delores, Patricia and Nancy. She also leaves behind 3 children, Timothy Westby, Karen Cody-Van Brunt and Sharen (Buddy) Hicks. Grandchildren, Karren (Niesey) Hicks, Adam Westby, JJ (Melanie) Hicks, Justin (Harris Lee) Westby, Stephanie (Roy) Johnson, Ian (Jennifer) Cody, Kelly (Kaylen) Westby, Tracey (Cari) Westby, Briar (Morgan) Van Brunt, and Lanie Van Brunt. As well as 27 great grandchildren.
