Billy Del Edens, 77, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016. His Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 1st at Trinity Baptist Church in Strawn officiating will be Mike Orsini. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Strawn.
Billy was born September 14, 1938 to Virginia Del & Henry Bell Edens in Antelope Flats, Texas. He lived there until he joined the Navy at 16 years of age. He served 20 years and retired in Murrieta California, where he lived for 24 years. He also retired from Guidant in Temecula California. He has lived the last 12 years in Strawn. Bill was very accomplished and talented person. He loved Nascar & cold beer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Bobbi; son, Billy D. Edens, Jr and wife Lisa; stepchildren; Tonya Parsons and husband Michael, Scott Teter and wife Angela, Tim Teter and wife Carrie, Angela Radosti and husband Joseph; sister, Patricia Hollan and husband John; 9 grandchildren; Cory and Gabby Edens, Lacy Gallozzi, Kyle, Molly, and Benjamin Teter, Ryan, Katherine, and Shane Parsons; and 3 great grandchildren; Isabella Gallozzi, Cashdon Edens, and Blake Parsons.
He is preceded in death by mother, Virginia ¬¬¬¬Scribner, father, Henry Bell Edens, brother, Bennie Edens, and nephews and cousins.
