Bobby Jack Trice

Bobby Jack Trice passed away on February 15, 2023. He was born right outside the city of Anson, Texas on November 6, 1945 to Joel and Sidney Opal Trice. Bobby graduated Anson High School in 1964. Shortly after, he enlisted in the Army and went to Vietnam as a clerk. After his service he went on to get his coaching degree at the University of North Texas in 1971. Bobby was a football coach as well as an educator in various public schools across Texas before becoming a diagnostician of special education. Bobby was an active member of the Adventist Church. His main hobby and enjoyment in life was being outdoors. Whether it was fixing things around the farm or jogging down the county road he was always outside. He also loved athletics, football, basketball, baseball, and track.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joel Trice; his mother, Sidney Opal Trice; his brothers, Freddie, Jerry, and Billie Don; and his sister, Virginia Doty. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Trice; his children, Joel Trice and Marlena Windham and her husband Jim Windham; his brother, Randy Trice; his grandchildren, Coleton Honea, Hailey Honea, Katie Windham, and Weston Windham; and his granddaughter, Caroline Honea.

A memorial service will be held February 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. 411 S Mulberry St, Eastland, TX 76448.
