Bobby Walton

Bobby Ray Walton, devoted Husband, Daddy, and Papaw passed away on Wednesday morning, January 23, 2013 at the age of 83 in the Brownwood Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Christoval, Texas, a Ham Radio Operator in Forest Glade, Texas, and retired after 40 years from Lone Star Gas Co. On March 5, 1949 in Weatherford, Texas, he married the love of his life, Audra Patt Squiers. They were married for 63 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wash and Rilla Walton; 2 brothers, Bub and Al Ames; granddaughter, Rebecca Leigh Walton; and great-grandson, Kevin Doyle Rice.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Patricia and her husband Danny Ray of Coleman, Kay and her husband Billy Scott of Rising Star, Pam and her husband Randy Bowman of San Angelo; 1 son, Ronnie Walton of Desdemona; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Merriman Cemetery at 2pm Sunday, January 27, 2013 with Brother Terry Simmons officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland, Texas.

He is gone but will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Papaw, we will all see you again soon.
