Bonnie Mae Dickson

GORDON – Bonnie Mae Schluter Dickson, age 85, went to her Heavenly Home Friday, April 29, 2022. Services under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn. A visitation will be Friday May 6th from 6-8:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday May 7th at 11:00 AM in the First United Methodist Church in Gordon, burial will follow in Doty Cemetery.
Bonnie was born January 27, 1937 in Rhome, Texas to Esther Mae Paul Schluter and Henry Carl Schluter. She had two older brothers Carl Schluter and Bob Schluter. She married Willie Rayburn Dickson on December 29, 1958 in Rhome, Texas. She was a professional artist and teacher for 40 plus years. She was previously a member of Ash Creek Baptist Church of Azle and a current member of the First United Methodist Church in Gordon.
Survivors include daughter, Lisa Henderson and husband Troyce; son, Ron Dickson; grandchildren, Mattie Galloway, Noah Dickson, Lillie Dickson, Jacob Henderson, Jasmine Stark, and Corey Henderson; great-grandchildren, Cody Henderson, Caitlyn Henderson, Gracie Thompson, Tucker Sanders and Sophia Woods; and many beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Esther and Henry, her brothers Carl and Bob and husband Rayburn.
