C. L. Scott

C.L. Scott, 70, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10AM at Flatwood Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland.
C.L. Scott was born on July 25, 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Vernon Mack and Verna Mae (Knieff) Scott. He married Jeanne Freyschlag on November 13, 1987 in Brownwood. He worked as a food service salesman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an excellent cook.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Jeanne Scott; son Charlie Livingston and wife, Shirley; daughter, Carole George and husband, Chris; brother, Butch Scott; sister, Verna Burris and husband, Thom; and grandchildren, Tre’ Dool, Chase Livingston, and Emily George.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Missy Dool; and sister, Lucy.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Eastland Volunteer Fire Department.
