Carol Anne Griffin

Carol Anne Griffin, age 52 years young, went home to be with her Lord Monday, October 19, 2020. Services for Carol will be at 11 am Saturday, October 24 at Edwards Funeral Home, 411 S Mulberry, Eastland, TX. Family and friends will gather before the service, starting at 9 for a visitation. Burial will be at the Murray Cemetery on Hwy 6 south of Carbon, TX.
Carol was born July 8, 1968 in Eastland to Carl A. and Mary Ann Handrick Ziehr and was a graduate of Cisco High School. She married the love of her life, Robin Lee Griffin, the day after her 19th birthday at the Mangum Baptist Church. She worked as a title clerk for 15 years but most recently could be found working for Mae’s Meat Market. Carol was a loving wife, mom and grandmother. She loved hunting, fishing and gardening. All of her animals held a special part of her heart. She was an active member of their church as a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed seeing the kids every Sunday. She loved her family and her beautiful smile and laughter will be greatly missed.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Robin, children; Robin Griffin, Jr and wife Amanda, Adam Griffin, Ryan Griffin and Nicole McMillin and husband Brett, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Stewart and husband Joe and brother Karl Ziehr and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Ann Ziehr.
