Danny Harold Hutto

January 30, 1959 — January 18, 2024

Danny was born on January 30th, 1955, in Waynesboro, Mississippi.

Danny is preceded in death by the love of his life, Cathryn Hutto, and his daughter, Virginia Ann Hutto “V.”

In Danny’s early 20s, he drove a truck for a living, which led him to Weatherford, Texas, where he met the love of his life, Cathy. It was a short time before Cathy joined Danny on the road, where they endured many adventures together. In 1985, they embarked on the most incredible lifelong adventure by joining hands in marriage. July 8th, 1989, they welcomed their greatest blessing of life, Virginia Ann Hutto. In 2004, the Hutto packed up and moved their lives to Eastland, Texas, where the three of them would enjoy their lives. To know Danny was to love him. The mold was broken after God created him. Danny was one of the most selfless individuals you would have the opportunity to meet. Over the years, Danny would put together a Christmas drive for the children in Eastland County.

Along with his wife Cathy and a few little elves, they would wrap as many gifts as possible and hand them out with Santa for many years. This event brought joy to Danny, and he loved giving to the kids and watching their eyes light up. Mr. Hutto would continue various activities within Eastland County that brought joy to many. Danny was a jack of all trades, and there wasn’t anything in the world that man couldn’t do. Day to day, it was always a surprise what you would catch Danny out doing. He was a hard worker and enjoyed watching all his projects come to life. As he rests today, his memory will live.

Danny was laid to rest with his wife and daughter Monday, January 22nd.
