Dennis Ray Moenning

Dennis R. Moenning passed from this life September 30, 2015 at his home in Mingus, Texas. A visitation was held 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 1st at Edwards Funeral Home Strawn. Funeral service was 10:00 A.M. Friday October 2nd at the First Baptist Church in Strawn with burial followed at Mt. Marion Cemetery.

Dennis was born November 26, 1959 at Knox City to Herbert Moenning and Mary Jo Parish Moenning, he graduated from Strawn High School and spent some time in College. He was a pipeline operator from Enbridge for 28 years, married Kimberley Sue Sloan February 18, 2006 in Leaky, Texas. He loved to guide hunts, fish, and hunt turkey.

Survivors include his wife, Kim; one son, Travis Lopez; two daughters, Jessica Mallory & husband Matthew and Sona Nunez and husband Chris; one brother, Coby Allen Moenning; five grandchildren, and special friends; Shana Mercer, Allie Dwayne Iverson, and Chad Hill.
