Don Sheron Adams was born on December 6, 1941 Palo Pintos County on County's Link Ranch to Melvin and Mabel "Collins" Adams. Don died August 31, 2013, in Eastland, Texas at the age of 71. Don's parents moved to Ranger Texas in 1953, where Don lived the remainder of his Life. Don graduated from Ranger High School and from the University of Texas Tech with a degree in accounting.

Don married Charlotte Howton in 1965, and to their marriage three children were born. Don farmed with his father for many years, but was an entrepreneur at heart, instituting and developing a number of business interests in his lifetime.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; Charlotte Adams ; a sister- in-law, a sister Eugenia Adams. Don is survived by his brother Guinn Adams, a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Bob Haynes; his children and their spouses, Steve and Mary Adams, Kim and Bill Miller, Mark and Nicole Adams; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday t at the Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger Texas. Grave side Services will be held on Tues September 3, 2013 at the Cross Roads Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger.
