Donald L. Loe, 81 of Eastland made his transition on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. A celebration of his life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland.
Donald was born June 23, 1936 to Lewis Lorraine Loe and Dahlia Alline (Wood) Loe in Vernon, Texas. He married Carol Ann Bedingfield on July 3, 1958 in Arlington, Texas and they had a devoted marriage for 57 years. Don joined the Army in his younger years and had become a member of the gun club here in Eastland. He worked in the computer field at NASA for two decades before he retired.
He is survived by sister, Dorothy Oliver of Waco, TX, four nieces, Cynthia Oliver, April Loe Todd, Allison Loe Reilly, and Christy Kidd and one nephew Christopher Oliver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Loe who transitioned in April 2016.
Memorial donations in his name may be made to Eastland Rifle & Gun Association.
