Donnie P. Dossey

RANGER- Donnie P. Dossey, born July 1, 1960 to Annie Belle Hunnincutt, passed from this life on June 7, 2023 at the age of 62. He was born in Floydada, Texas.
Donnie attended Ranger High School in Ranger, Texas. He married Wanda Jo Johnsten on June 4, 1981 in Eastland, Texas. He worked as a master welder and worked for Texas Railway for 5 years. He had a boxing club and taught boxing to the boys and girls of Ranger from 1976 to 1980. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with family.
Donnie is survived by wife; son Corkey John Dossey and wife Raven of Mesquite, Tx; daughters, Stephanie Acevez of Fort Worth, TX, Amanda Jane Dossey and husdand Blaine Hudson of Ranger, TX, Phillis Jean and husband Klifton Boggs of Coahoma, TX; brothers, Kenneth Clark, Charles Clark, Glen Clark, Jimmy Clark, and Bobby Fambro; sisters, Linda, Vickie, Freda, Shirley, and Judy; and 10 grandchildren.
Donnie is preceeded in death by his mother, and a daughter, Pamela Kaye Dossey.
Family members will be sharing memories and celebrating his life at a memorial service on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 2:00PM at Merriman Baptist Church Dining Hall in Ranger, Texas.
