Doris P. “Sam” Slemmons, 81, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at a Chesapeake, Va. hospital. She was born March 6, 1936 in Floyd County, Va. to the late Mason and Nell Phillips.
She is survived by her husband David Slemmons, two sisters, and two brothers.
Services will be held on Sat, 9/2/2017 at 2 PM at Brad Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, P. O. Box 2156, Norfolk, Va. 23501-2156.
