Dorothy Jean Adams

EASTLAND – Dorothy Jean Adams, age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 7, 2017. Services for Dorothy will be at 1 pm Sunday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel at 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco.
Dorothy was born April 27, 1930 in Cisco, TX to J.F. and Myrtle Della Callaway Rawson. She married James Dalton (J.D.) Adams and together they shared many wonderful years and 4 beautiful children. J.D. preceded her in death. She then married Al Gaeta in a simple Church Service and has spent the last years loving him.
Dorothy is survived by her loving Al Gaeta, two daughters: Shirley McCoy and husband Michael of Taylor, TX and Patti Adams of Abilene, one son, Mike Adams and wife Terri of Abilene, 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband J.D. Adams, a daughter, Pamela Gutierrez and a sister Jacque.
