Earlene Oglesby Cave

Earlene Cave went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1, 2017, in Kennesaw, Georgia. She was born in Oplin, TX on September 9, 1921 to George and Mary (White) Oglesby. Earlene and her husband, John, were very active in the Eastland community and in 1995 she was honored as the Volunteer of the Year. Earlene was also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eastland and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Earlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, and nine siblings including Mabel Garrett of Eastland.

She is survived by 2 sons; Mike Larking of Seattle, WA and Larry Larkin of Rockmart GA, a daughter; Pat McClain of Kennesaw, GA, her twin sister; Earnestine Pierce of Clyde, a special niece; Debbie Pierce of Clyde and a special nephew; Lyndell Garrett. Earlene is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 9th, in the Eastland City Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
