Earline Latham age 80 was relocated to her permanent home in Heaven on the afternoon of July 24 2019 after battling Alzheimer’s for several years. A memorial service will be held at Daugherty Street Church of Christ in Eastland on August 31, 2019 at 11 am.
Earline Turner was born in Eastland on September 15, 1938 to John Earl and Mable Lois Turner. She graduated from Eastland High School and attended Cisco Junior College. She married Robert B. Latham in 1965 and moved to Odessa Texas. After Robert retired from General Tire they returned to Eastland County and lived on Lake Leon until Robert passed in 2011.
Earline moved to Kyle Texas after the death of her beloved husband Robert. She was a wonderful mother friend and wife. All who knew her were blessed to have the opportunity. Earline was an artist who enjoyed giving her art to everyone. We are all very fortunate to have beautiful artistic reminders of her.
It is wonderful to have such blessed assurance that Earline is residing with our dear Savior Jesus Christ and having a huge family reunion with our family that has gone before. Rejoice in the life that Earline lived. She was a great representation of the nature of Jesus with her giving spirit and joyous nature. Earline was a loyal friend and wasn’t known to gossip. We will truly miss her but, rejoice for her that she is no longer in pain.
Earline is survived by her three children, Thomas Latham and his son Thomas Latham Jr. of Odessa, Ronda Latham and her two children Makayla, and Maverick Latham of Kyle, and Paula Phillips her husband Alan and their two children Bethany and Andrew of San Antonio.
