Born in Paris Texas. Traveled as a Air Force brat all over due to Dad's deployments. After high school, Dave enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was assigned to the USS Holmes County & then the USS Manitowoc and served for 6 years and did 2 tours in Vietnam and visited ports of call all over the world. After being discharged, Dave graduated from college and taught school.
Dave went on to enter the television production business and worked for KTVT Channel 11 in Fort Worth for many years. He went on to found a television station with his business partner that is still on the air today.
Dave loved his family, music, played guitar, albeit left handed, and had a passion for hunting and fishing.
Dave moved to Eastland County several years ago and had a small ranch, lake house on Lake Cisco, and a small business. He finally settled in a little house in town.
David was a Christian who loved the Lord, read the Bible on a regular basis and tried to live his life accordingly.
Dave's parents preceded him in death Alonzo Warren and Billie Youngblood Warren, and sister Mariam Warren Murphy.
He is survived by his daughter Aubrey Warren Dane and son-in-law David Dane,granddaughter Desay Elaine Dane, his brother Charles Warren, and many cousins, in-laws, family members, and many, many friends.
