Eleanor F. "Nona" Moreno

Eleanor Moreno, known to her friends as “Nona,” went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday, March 15th, 2018, at the age of 77 years.
On March 9th, 1941, Eleanor was born to Lupe and Antonia Fuentez in Eastland. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lupe and Antonia; her husband Mike Moreno; son Mike “Jr” Moreno; and daughter Barbara Ann Moreno.
Eleanor was a longtime resident of Cisco. She had a passion for sewing and loved crocheting baby blankets and hats to send to the newborn babies at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Eleanor is survived by her sons, Bob, Tony and Mick Moreno; brothers, Paul, Lupe and Gilbert Fuentez; sister, Ophelia Fuentez; 6 grandchildren; and a newborn great-granddaughter.
Services will be a visitation from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20th, at the Edwards Funeral Home-Eastland, 411 S. Mulberry St. A Rosary will start at 7:00 p.m.
