Emma Berniece Williams

Emma Berniece (Garrett) Williams was born on October 7, 1929 in Dublin, TX to Lee E. Garrett and Bernice (Tharp) Garrett.
Emma married Lavoy D. Williams on July 11, 1946 and they spent 44 beautiful years together until has passing on February 25, 1991. Emma was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who loved her family dearly. She worked as a medication aide caring for patients for many years and loved hummingbirds. She left her family many great memories and will be missed dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Gerald Williams of Austin, TX; daughters: Sharon Swan and husband Jack of Coleman, TX, Sue Braddock and husband Carrol of Ranger, TX, and Tammy Wilkins and husband Mickey of Ft. Stockton, also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents: Lee and Bernice Garrett; husband: Lavoy Williams; son: Jerry D. Williams; granddaughter: Diana Davis; grandson: Ronny Gilbert; great-grandson: Josh Wells and great-granddaughter: Chelsea Williams and three sisters.
A family visitation if scheduled from 5pm-7pm, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger, TX. Graveside services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Merriman Cemetery.
