Florence "Flo" Ann Bogard

Ms. Florence Ann (Cross) Bogard lost her battle with cancer this Thursday, October 9, 2014. A visitation will be held Saturday 6 to 8 pm at Edwards Funeral Home, 115 Watson Place, Strawn, Texas. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday also at Edwards Funeral Home.

Florence was born September 3,1947, to Gladis Ann Swanner and Cecil Edward Cross. She graduated from Strawn High School. She lived many places but returned to live South of Thurber. She spent the remainder of her life as she wished making Mrs Bogard's Candy and working outdoors: mowing, building fences, and farming.

Florence is survived by her mother Gladis Parr, two brothers Denver and his wife Lana Cross and Danny Cross, two children Tiffany Sparks and her husband Cliff Bramlett, and Rigdon Bogard, and three grandchildren Samantha Rogers, Seth Rumbo and Rachel Rumbo. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband T. J. Sparks, and her husband Finis Bogard.
