Frances Beall

Frances LaVerne Beall, 86, of Eastland, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 in Eastland. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8PM on Friday, February 15, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel and services will be held at 1PM Saturday February 16 also at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Merriman Cemetery.

Frances was born May 12, 1926 in Carbon Texas to Thomas Basil Harris and Abbie Lorene Carrol. She grew up in Ranger and Roby and moved to Houston in 1947. She attended Wharton Jr. College. Was a bookkeeper in the Houston area and later worked with Wade during his time with the U.S. Justice Department as a U.S. Marshall.

She married Wade on November 22, 1969 in Houston. They moved to Eastland in 1988 where she was a member of the Daugherty St. Church of Christ. She and Wade worked 18 years helping the needy including 8 years at the Daugherty St. Church of Christ Service Center. Wade preceded her in death on March 26, 2010.

Survivors include a daughter, Verna Jones Hoefar and husband Larry of Humble Texas, Weldon Jones and wife Barbara of Austin, Tom Jones of Baton Rouge, Wade's son, Stanley Beall and wife Thelma of West Virginia, Niece Kay Baker of Odessa Texas and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as relatives in the Eastland area.


In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Daugherty St Church of Christ Service Center are appreciated.
