In loving memory of Frances R Casey
Frances R Casey, born on March 11, 1939, peacefully passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 85 in Stephenville, TX. Funeral services will be held on July 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Merriman Baptist Church in Ranger, TX with Pastor John Casey, Jr and Pastor Gerald Gunstanson officiating. Interment will follow at Staff Cemetery in Eastland, TX. Prior to this, a visitation will take place at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger on July 9, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Throughout her life, Frances was a beacon of strength and kindness to all who knew her. Her presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Frances married John Thomas Casey, Sr on April 30, 1954.
She worked for 38 years for Ranger ISD as a custodian. She was a member of Merriman Baptist Church.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Rest in peace, Frances. Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of those you touched. Survivors include five sons; John Casey, Jr. of Ranger, Raymond Casey and wife, Donna of Mineral Wells, Kenneth Casey and wife, Terry of Odessa, Tim Casey and wife, Tanya of Ranger, James Casey and wife, Tracy of New London: Five daughters, Kathy Pack of Stephenville, Mary Pack and husband, Eddy of Stephenville, Carla Garrett of Cisco, B.J. Thackerson and husband, Justin of Stephenville, Barbara Jacobs and husband, John of Mingus: Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, John Casey, Sr; parents, Robert and Florence Robinson; three brothers, Charles Robinson, Wilburn Robinson and Sam Robinson; three sisters, Ruth Wilcox, Gaynell Tackett and Willie Galik.
Pallbearers are; Michael Casey, Jeff Pack, Carl Christian, Cody Christian, Robert Pack, Eddy Pack, Jr., Brent Pack and Mason Wells.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the loving care provided by Alpha-Omega Hospice and to Stephenville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
