Frank Saylors

Osco Franklin “Frank” Saylors, 75 of Eastland, went home to be with the Lord
Monday, November 7, 2022. Services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland with his nephew, Brent Williams, officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 4~6 PM at the funeral home.
Frank was born May 14, 1947 in Athens, TX to Bob Saylors and Marie Garlington
Saylors. After high school he attended Southwestern Assemblies of God
University in Waxahachie, TX. He served in the US Army as a medic in Vietnam. He moved to Eastland in 1983 where he was pastor of the Assembly of God Church. He was a police officer for 40 years. He loved riding motorcycles, old cars, bluegrass festivals, and always loved to joke with people. He truly had a servant’s heart and was a positive influence on countless teenagers.
He married Alice Kanady in Throckmorton. He was preceded in
death by his parents; and a sister, Bobbie Sue Hurst.
Survivors include 2 sons, Kyle Saylors and Kenny Saylors; a daughter, Katrina
Cook; a sister, Barbara Williams; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of close friends.
Memorial donations in Frank’s name may be made to the Eastland County Crisis
Center (PO Box 1010, Eastland, TX 76448) which Frank strongly supported.
