Frankie Marie Koger

Frankie Marie Koger, 84, passed from this life to the next on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Eastland. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 2PM at the Breckenridge Cemetery, Breckenridge, TX. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home, 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland, TX on Saturday from 4 to 6 PM.
Frankie Marie Lindley was born on June 14, 1934 in the Gunsight Community to Cecil Lindley and Leetie Thorp Lindley. She graduated from Eastland High School, and then went on to marry James Koger on April 13, 1953 in Eastland County. She had worked at Valley View Nursing Home and the Northview Development Center as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of the River of Life Church, and Mrs. Koger was also a homemaker who loved to spend time with her grandchildren, doing word searches, and watching soap operas.
Survivors include her sons, James Koger Jr., Gary Koger and wife, Frances, and Randy Koger and wife, Linda; daughters, Patricia Johnson, and husband, Larry and Debbie Casey. She is also survived by grandchildren that she raised as her own, Misty Koger, Michael Koger, Christy Leal, and Sherry Larkin; and other beloved grandchildren she leaves behind, Jessica Jordan, Colt Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Kayla Fuentes, Kimberly Nichols, April Larance, James Koger III, Latasha Bransford, Jeremy Jackson, Darla Jean Lindsey, Patricia Mabry, Lisa Jeffcoat, Jessica Koger, Jennifer Koger, Randy Koger Jr., Nakita Winkler, Justin Koger, Kristina Koger, Bryan Koger, Lara Mendoza, and Brandon Koger; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Larry Koger.
