Frankie Leach

October 22, 1930 — February 6, 2020

Frankie Wimberley Turnbow Leach, age 89, went to be with Jesus and her family on Thursday February 6, 2020.

Frankie was born 10/22/1930 in Strawn Texas to Moody Morris Wimberley and Bessie (Bell) Wimberley.

Frankie/Mom/Mamaw was the Matriarch of our family. She loved to cook and always wanted to feed anyone who came to visit. She was a prayer warrior and we’ve all called on her to pray many times. She was a pillar in the church and was always willing to work anytime she was needed.

She married Ellis Leach on June 26,1980. After his retirement they spent many years traveling all across the US.

She loved her family and doted on the babies. She will be greatly missed by many.

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters – Eddie Cook, Jackie Rexroat; brothers – Jessie Wimberley, Paul Wimberley, Clark Wimberley; grandsons – Donald (Bo) Turnbow, Joel McClung.

Survived by husband Ellis Leach; children Don & Cheryl Turnbow, Deborah Rainey, Rhonda Turnbow, Janice & Grant McClung, Susie & Glen Anniskette, Wesley Leach; siblings Troy Wimberley, and Ruth Atkins.
