Gary N. Gordon

Palo Pinto Lake near Gordon, Texas- Gary N. Gordon left this world June 11, 2015 , Services will be a Visitation at Edwards Funeral Home Strawn Friday evening from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday in New Gordon Cemetery, with Interment to follow in New Gordon Cemetery.

Gary Was Born in Stephenville Feb. 23, 1941 to Lee Roy Gordon and Beatrice Williams Gordon, graduated from Rankin High School and some college, Married Cathy Gordon May 1, 1976, she preceded him in death December 8, 2012. Gary worked as a mechanic for Southwest Airways until retirement. He loved to build model airplanes, play dominos and 31, fish, hunt and drink coffee with friends at Bar-B.

Gary is survived by two sons Larry Alan Tamplen, and wife Marge and Lynn Arron Tamplen and wife Ronda, one step son Alan Cummins. One daughter Laura Ann Kiowski and husband John; two step daughters; Diane Barker and husband Alvin and Sherry Rasmuson and husband Larry; sisters; Janis Mills and Husband Les and Julie Merritt. Grandchildren; Caleb, Justin, Crystal, Caelin, Shana, Amanda, Kaysi, and Coleman. Great grandchildren Knox and Catherine. Also many nephews and nieces, and special nephew, Doug Gordon.
