Gary Phillip Graham, 73, passed from this life to the next on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his home. A service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8PM.
Gary Phillip Graham was born on October 25, 1945 in Fort Worth to Ervin Lee Graham and Merle M. Norton Graham. He graduated from Eastland High School and then Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was a proud United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He married Treania Warren on April 12, 1987 in Lubbock. Gary was employed as an operator for Moylan Construction for 25 years, prior to his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Treania Graham of Eastland; son, Jay Dale Thomas and wife, Kim of Monahans granddaughters, Brittany Thomas of Midland, Jade Thomas Shaw and husband, Bradley of Lubbock, and Hannah Thomas of Lubbock; nieces, Cara Hoyt of Arizona, Pam Westmoreland of Eastland, and Cindy Gordy of Flower mound; and nephews, Donny Cate and Jimmy Cate both of Eastland.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rebecca Graham Cox.
The family would like to thank Dr. Robert DeLuca and his staff, Dr. Wm. Simpson Jr., and Cindy Burleson, caregiver for all of the special care they showed to Gary.
