Gilbert Lee Rodgers

Gilbert Lee Rodgers of Ranger, TX passed away January 20, 2023. A memorial service will be Wednesday 2pm at Ranger College Gilbert was born on February 2, 1962 in Ranger, TX to Claude and Lela Rodgers. He graduated from Ranger High School in 1982 He was Baptized at the Second Baptist Church of Ranger on June 14, 1970.
In November 1993 he met the love of his life Sharmon, they were married on April 21 1995. He worked for Sterling Monument in Eastland for 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Delores Rodgers and Linda Weeaks. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sharmon of Ranger, TX; two sons, Justin Vance of Ranger, TX and Levi Vance and wife Jamie of San Angelo; brother and sister-in-law Roy Don and Wendy Rodgers; sister, Nelda Rodgers all from Ranger, TX; and numerous niece and nephews.
A small family memorial will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 2pm at Ranger College Auditorium.
