Gordon S. Hankins

Gordon “Hank” Stewart Hankins 80, of Mingus Tx, died on September 17, 2023. He was born in Clarendon, Donley Co, TX in 1943 to parents Curtis Wilmar Hankins and Mildred Venona Whitefield. He was the 5th of 7 children.

Hank was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers- Courtney, Rudy, Victor, and son Cody and is survived by Anna, Son Gordon (Jennifer), Daughters Stephanie (Zack) and Shannon (Douglas), and Stanley Culpepper, His 9 grandchildren Kaelyn, Connor, Colton, Kendyl, Carly, Logan, Blake, Benjamin, and Isabel. Along with his 6 Greatgrandchildren Levity, Phoenix, MayVee, Mylah, Jackson, and Wyatt. Brother Rodney, Sisters Ela Sue (Sudie) and Ina Mae
(Sammy).

Hank will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity, his remarkable talent and love for singing and music. He always had a good story to share and in typical Hank fashion it was loaded of humor. The room was always filled with laughter. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Services will include a graveside celebration of life at the Palo Pinto Cemetery on Saturday September 23, 2023, at 1 pm.
