Gregory Harding Frizzell (67), born on December 10, 1956, began his life's journey in Jackson, MS, as the son of Oscar and Judy (Hutchinson) Frizzell. On July 17, 1981, in a union of love and commitment, he married Mayanna Hardy in Pampa, TX. Together, they embarked on a life filled with shared joys and cherished memories.
Throughout his life, Gregory pursued a career in the oilfield industry, dedicating himself to field operations. His work took him to various places, including Pampa, TX, Van Buren, AR, Mustang, OK, Tuttle, OK, and Mangum, OK, before finally settling in Eastland, TX, in 2018.
Gregory's love for music and country culture was evident in his annual trips to the Country Music Festival in Nashville, TN, a tradition shared with his beloved wife, Mayanna, for 28 years. Together, they found solace in watching movies and creating a haven of laughter and companionship.
An enthusiast of wrestling, Gregory's passion led him to dabble in semi-professional wrestling, a testament to his spirited nature and zest for life.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Mayanna Frizzell; brother, Daryl Frizzell and wife, Lisa; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Susan Hardy; brother-in-law, Andy Hardy and cherished niece Amy Ross and numerous other nieces and nephews.
In honor of Gregory's life, a memorial services as a celebration of his remarkable journey will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects, reflecting on the memories shared and the legacy he leaves behind. May his spirit rest in everlasting peace.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Judy Frizzell.
