Guillermo Sergio Montano

Guillermo Sergio Montano, 23 of Carbon, passed away Thursday May 25, 2017. A Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Saturday at his parents’ home; 617 FM 3363, Olden, TX. Mass will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Eastland. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
Sergio was born on March 23, 1994 in San Miguelde Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico to Eduardo Montano and Maria Escobedo Montano. He graduated from Eastland High School in 2013, and was a machine operator at Fibergrate Composite Structures in Stephenville. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Eastland.
Survivors include his fiancée, Maritza Esquivel; his parents, Eduardo and Maria Montano; four brothers, Jose Alejandro Montano (Carolina), Humberto Montano, Sr, Eduardo Montano, Sr (Maria), and Erasmo Montaro, Sr (Laura); and a sister, Maria Del Carmen Montano y Jose Tellez; nieces and nephews, Alejandro Montano. Humberto Montano, Jr, Brandon Martinez, Erasmo Montano, Jr, Noemi Montano, Adrian Montano, Guillermo Montano, Fernando Montano, Cesar Montano, Yeison Tellez, Ariadna Montano, Fabien Montano, David Vasquez, Jennifer Vasquez, Yasmin Montano, Yasmin Tellez, Hector Montano, Valeria Montano, and Brisa Montano; his in-laws, Angel & Maria Esquivel; and his brother-in-law, Angel Esquivel.
