Hazel Allean Underwood

Hazel Allean Underwood, 89, passed from this life to the next on Thursday, November 21, 2019. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday from 1-2PM. Interment will be in the Alameda Cemetery.
Hazel Allean Cox was born on November 18, 1930 in Denton, Texas. She married Charles “Chock” Underwood on December 14, 1962 in Abilene. She had worked for Hollywood Vassarette, First Federal Savings and Loan in Ranger, and at Century 21 Real Estate. She enjoyed quilting and needle work, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Kinser; son, Michael W. Reid and wife, Anita; grandchildren, Shea Schafer, Toby Sparkman, Chance Reid, Courtney Harbin, and Colby Reid; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents C.M. Cox and Daisy M. Lind, and her husband.
