Heather Marie Rouse

– Heather Marie Rouse, 33 of Gordon passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Ft. Worth, TX. A visitation for Heather will be held Thursday, March 13 from 6-7 pm at the Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn with a Memorial Service to be held Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 am at the Gordon Fire Hall.
Heather was born September 13, 1980 in Mineral Wells, TX to Kenneth and Elena James Rouse. She graduated from Gordon High School and attended Ranger Jr. College and Tarleton State University. Heather worked as a hostess at the New York Hill Restaurant in Thurber, TX.
Heather was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Gordon and a member of the Gordon Volunteer Fire Department. She loved babysitting and adored her family. Heather was very community oriented and very proud to be a part of the wonderful town of Gordon, TX. She was loved by everyone who knew her or just met her. Heather was a unique lady – there was no one else like Heather. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Heather was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Rouse and by grandparents: Joyce James and June and Doyle Rouse.
She is survived by her mother Elena Rouse, one brother Michael Rouse and his wife Jill and one sister Stephanie Rouse all from Gordon, TX. Heather is also survived by her grandfather Bill James, nieces and nephews: Hailey, Hope, Hoss, Heidi, Jasper, Tatum and Tucker, and numerous other family and dear friends.
