STRAWN - Helen (Lynn) Cozby departed this life Monday, September 9, 2013 at her residence in Strawn, TX. Graveside services were Thursday, 2:00pm, September 12, 2013 at Mt. Marion Cemetery Strawn, Texas, Rev. Mike Orsini will officiate, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn.
Helen was born October 2, 1935 in Mingus, Texas to Lonnie Lynn and Thelma Speegle Lynn. She graduated from Strawn High School where she was elected Homecoming Queen. She had worked as a teacher'
s aid, an optician assistant, and Walmart. She loved doing crossword and Jigsaw puzzles but most of all, loved her grandkids. Helen enjoyed living in both Louisiana and Texas.
Helen is survived by two sons, Charles Lynn Cozby and wife Starleen, Ricky Dale Cozby and wife Lela, one daughter, Barbie Cozby. One brother, Jimmie Lynn and wife Pauline and one sister, Barbara Yourgeson, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
