Howard Wilson, 86, passed away November 10, 2014 in Ranger. His services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, November 13th at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland followed by burial at Eastland Cemetery. The family will accept friends and family Wednesday, November 12th from 5:30-7:00 pm.
Howard was born October 13, 1928 to Henry E. and Emma Ola (Reese) Wilson in Carbon, Texas where he grew up and graduated from Carbon High School. Howard worked for Texas Electric Service Company for 39 years where he was a Line Crew Superintendent. He raised cattle, farmed, and owned a gas station at one time. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and was a gunsmith. Howard was a member of First Methodist Church, participated with Gun Club, Pony League Baseball, Quarterback Club, and Bass Club.
Howard is survived by 2 sons, Howard E. Wilson and wife Donna of Nacogdoches, Texas; Terry Wilson and wife Carlotta of Eastland; 1 daughter, Yvonne Williamson and husband Tommy of Eastland; daughter-in-law Donna Wilson of Eastland; grandchildren, Jeffrey Wayne Wilson and wife Heidi of Cornith, Texas, Howard Eric Wilson and wife Robyn of Marshall, Texas, Donald Tolbert of Nacogdoches, Texas, Blake Wilson and wife Vanessa of Eastland, Lynn Wilson of Eastland, Jericho Ray Williamson and fiancée Brandi of Eastland, Cory Wilson Williamson and wife Courtney of Cisco, Bryce Mason Williamson of Abilene, Tori Silva of Tuscon, Arizona, and Destiny Kittlemann of Scottsdale, Arizona; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Kaylie Tolbert of Nacogdoches, Colby Blake and Tanner Wade Wilson of Eastland, Rhealyn, Reese, and Henry Eric Wilson of Marshall, Isabella Silva and Brooklyn Kittlemann of Arizona; and sister Emma Tankersley.
He is preceded by death by his parents, wives; Jackie Marie Wilson, Rita Mildred Wilson, son Larry Wilson, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and a grandson Gary Tolbert.
